Curious about what we are teaching?
Chip:
2 sections of Junior Writing (Lots of difficult editing)
2 section of Sophomore Western Culture (Along with Mallary, so we can lesson plan together!)
1 section of Classic Movies (It's the first time this class has been offered, so Chip is starting from scratch.)
Mallary:
3 sections of Sophomore Western Culture (Great for my history interest!)
3 sections of Sophomore Oral English (Including some public speaking and debate!)
You guys look great - I am excited to talk soon. What about Thursday morning (our time).

cute pictures! I"m glad you like your city so far!
ReplyDeleteWow, interesting classes. We've never taught writing, for which I have to say I am extremely grateful. The Classic Movies sounds interesting. I'll be curious to hear what you do with that, Chip. Do you have a book or any guidelines, or did the school just say, "teach them about movies"?
ReplyDeleteHey - I want to talk to you too! Probably a lot of people do. But let me know if you ever have some time!
Oh my goodness! You are going to be busy with all of those classes! Sounds like you'll be learning as you go too!
ReplyDeleteQufu looks beautiful! How is the pace of life there??
what does the Confucius hand symbol mean--is it kind of like the Pope's blessing hand symbol?
