We made it back to China! Our trip was smooth--three flights with no delays and good connections. And our boxes (above) shipped from Qufu made it to Changchun. Then we carried them up six flights of stairs (no elevator) to our new apartment.

The apartment is nice--a little bigger than our Qufu home. We will spend the next few days organizing and decorating our new place, then our Language School orientation starts on Monday.
We met our classmates for a picnic today. There were so many great people (including a couple who stocked our fridge and had homemade cinnamon rolls waiting in our apartment when we arrived). We are excited about being in a larger city, larger community of foreigners, and in larger fellowship with believers.
Yay! You made it! Where is your apartment? It's not one that I recognize. Did Joellen make the cinnamon rolls? Hope orientation goes well and I can't wait to see you!
ReplyDeleteSounds great, guys! The apartment looks nice, too! We could skype any morning that works for you...just let me know.
